SICCATHERM are special short-wave infrared (IR-A) lamps for technical applications. These lamps have a maximum radiation at a wavelength of approximately 1,100 nm. Together with an internal parabolic reflector that groups the infrared energy into a high-intensity beam, these heat lamps produce a strong deep-acting effect on the irradiated materials. The main advantages of heating with SICCATHERM lamps are their short response time, precise control and high efficiency.

Lamps with ruby ​​red bulb crowns effectively reduce visible light. They are preferred for applications where visible light would interfere or the input energy must be converted with maximum efficiency into thermal radiation.
